Partisans of M. Finenko's unit are buried, who operated in the village during the period of temporary occupation and
soldiers who died during the liberation of the village from the Nazi invaders in August 1943,
when the village was in the combat zone of the 7th Guards Airborne Division,
which was part of the 4th Guards Army. The village was liberated on 25 August 1943. The names of 8 partisans and 26 soldiers are known.
In 1958, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave, where a brick monument was installed in the same year.
Two plates with a memorial inscription and the names of the fallen soldiers-liberators and 44 fallen soldiers-from the countryside were installed.
In 1985, the obelisk was replaced by a concrete stele with a metal bayonet adjacent to its side.
On the front and side of the stele, there are inscriptions, a bas-relief image of the Order of Victory, and the dates "1941-1945". On one of the side parts of the stele, there is a
a plate with the names of the fallen soldiers from Ukraine. The historical monument is listed in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine under the category of local significance (protection no. 4083-CM). Order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine of 10.02.2020 No. 630.
