32 soldiers who died during the defensive battles for the village in October 1941 and in the battles for its liberation from the German-Nazi invaders on September 3, 1943 and died of wounds in the hospitals stationed here are buried here. The names of 21 soldiers are known. In 1955, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave, on which in the same year a concrete sculpture of a warrior was installed on a brick pedestal and a cast-iron tombstone with a memorial inscription was placed. In 1965, a cement stele was installed to the right of the sculpture, on which six concrete boards with the names of 168 compatriot soldiers who died during the Second world war.
