106 soldiers who died on September 9, 1943 during the liberation of the village from the Nazi invaders are buried here. The names of 105 victims are known. In 1946, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave, on which a wooden obelisk was installed in the same year. In 1952, the obelisk was replaced by a sculptural group of a soldier and a woman. In 1975, the monument was reconstructed and a memorial was erected. A tombstone with a memorial inscription and the names of the dead is placed on the grave. A reinforced concrete sculptural group of three women on a brick plastered pedestal was built behind the grave. To the right of the monument there is a concrete slab with a memorial plaque on which 393 names of compatriot soldiers who died during the Second World War are engraved.
