Among the buried - the first chairman of the Putivl regional committee I. Huzeev, the secretary of the Putivl regional committee of the CP(b)U V. Rybkin, Soviet activists of lieutenant colonel D. Nikitin and S. Kalachevskyi, residents of Putivlia, shot in 1918, 1941-1943, underground. In the same grave are buried 77 Soviet soldiers and 1 partisan who died in early September 1941 in defensive battles, when the city was in the war zone, and those who died on September 2, 1943 during the liberation of Putivl from the Nazis invaders The known surnames of the 23 soldiers and the partisan - A. Kovalenko. In 1957, a reinforced concrete sculpture of a warrior with a memorial inscription on a brick pedestal was installed on the grave. In 1975, the remains of Soviet activists and soldiers from various places were transferred to a mass grave. In the same year, a reinforced concrete pylon with bas-relief images of Red Army soldiers, soldiers, partisans, and a grieving mother was installed on the grave. Five brass plates with the names of the buried are placed in front of the grave on a concrete base. A reinforced concrete stele with inscriptions and names of 558 compatriot soldiers who died on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War was installed on the back side of the pylon. In 2001, the remains of 11 Soviet soldiers who died in early September 1941 in defensive battles with German-fascist invaders near the village were reburied in front of the stele.
