78 soldiers who died on September 14-15, 1943 during the battles for the liberation of the village from the Nazi invaders were buried. The village was liberated on September 16, 1943. The names of 41 soldiers are known. In 1958, a reinforced concrete sculpture of a warrior and a memorial plaque with the names of 26 liberating soldiers were installed on the grave. There is a memorial inscription on the front side of the brick pedestal. In 1975, a reinforced concrete stele with the names of 109 compatriot soldiers who died on the fronts of World War II was installed to the left of the mass grave.
