They died during the liberation of the village from the Nazis in August 1943, when the village was in the combat zone of the 100th Infantry Division. The village was liberated on August 26, 1943. The names of 5 soldiers are known. In 1967, a concrete sculptural group of a soldier and a boy on a brick pedestal was installed on the grave. In the same year, a concrete pylon and a semicircular concrete stele were installed to the right of the sculptural group. At the top of the stele is an inscription. There are 66 names of the fallen soldiers below the inscription..
