Partisan I. Lysak, who was shot by the Nazis in March 1943, and
N. Ostapenko, a resident of the village in whose house a partisan was hiding. Based on a denunciation, the Nazis
the Nazis shot the partisan and the owner of the house, and the house was burned down. After the liberation of the village
the remains of I. Lysak and N. Ostapenko were moved to the site of the burned house.
In the same mass grave is buried the Soviet soldier Troian, who died during the
the liberation battles for the village on February 23, 1943. The village was finally liberated on August 18, 1943.
In 1973, a metal obelisk with an inscription, the names of the victims, and a photo of the soldier was erected on the grave. The historical monument is listed in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine under the category of local significance (protection no. 4027-CM). Order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine dated 10.02.2020 No. 630.
