Boridko Fedir Petrovych was born in 1913 in the village of Yaresky, Shyshakha district, in a poor peasant family. He was at the front from the first months of the war. He took part in the Battle of Kursk and the liberation of towns and villages in Ukraine and Poland. He was wounded three times. According to the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of 27 February 1945, Major F.P. Bordiko, commander of the 124th Tank Battalion of the 112th Tank Brigade of the 11th Guards Tank Corps, was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union for courage and bravery displayed in battles against the Nazi invaders.
He was awarded the Order of Lenin, two Orders of the Red Banner, the Orders of Alexander Nevsky, the Red Star, and medals.
On 19 March 1945, Fedir Petrovych Borydko was killed in action.
