The monument to N. Hohol in the writer's hometown, the village of Yareskakh, is the work of sculptor Yevhen Huba. It was unveiled in 1968 in the center of the village. The monument of monumental art is listed in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine under the category of local significance (protection no. 3044-Pl). Order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine dated 25.02.2020 No. 1062.
