23 soldiers who died during the liberation of the village from the Nazi invaders on September 2, 1943 and died of wounds between September 1943 and October 1944 in the hospitals stationed here are buried here. The names of 20 soldiers are known. In 1946, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave, on which a cast-iron tombstone with a memorial inscription and the names of the fallen soldiers was placed. In 1959, a concrete sculpture of a warrior on a brick pedestal was installed to the left of the grave. In 1978, a concrete stele was built to the right of the sculpture, on which there is a bas-relief image of the Order of the Patriotic War and 4 white marble boards with the names of 246 compatriot soldiers who died during the Second World War. To the right on the ceiling is a bas-relief image of a grieving mother. In 1982, another concrete stele was installed to the right of the first stele, on which there are 3 cast-iron boards with a memorial inscription and the names of 29 workers of the "Sumsky" state farm who died during the Second World War.
