150 prisoners of war, burned by the Nazis on March 4, 1943, were buried. In the premises of school No. 5 and the dormitory of the refining plant, there was a camp for prisoners of war, which held up to 7 thousand people. More than 2,000 prisoners of war died. On March 4, 1943, the German-Nazi invaders took part of the prisoners of war to the railway station, and some, about 150 people, to the territory of the military town. In the premises of the vegetable store, people were burned alive. In 1950, an obelisk made of black granite was installed on the grave.
