Two Red Army soldiers who died in October 1919 in a battle with units of O. Denikin's Volunteer Army were buried; local residents shot by the Nazis in 1942; three Soviet soldiers who died on September 8, 1943 during the liberation of the village from the Nazi invaders. In 1950, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave, on which an obelisk was installed in the same year, replaced in 1963 by a concrete sculpture of a warrior with a memorial inscription on a brick pedestal.
