Dismantled. It is known that in 1778, under the leadership of Suvorov, more than 30,000 Crimean peasants, primarily Greeks and Armenians, were forcibly deported from Crimea to the then Azov province of the Russian Empire. As a result of this deportation, about half of the migrants died during the first winter. Suvorov was also involved in the extermination of a part of the Nogai people, a people who in the 18th century inhabited the lands of the northern Black Sea region, i.e. the modern territory of the southern regions of Ukraine. In 1794, Suvorov led a Russian punitive corps to suppress the Polish liberation campaign led by Tadeusz Kosciuszko. In particular, it is known that Suvorov was involved in the suppression of the Koliyivshchyna uprising of the peasant and Cossack population in Right-Bank Ukraine in 1768-1769. Alexander Suvorov is considered a national hero of Russia. The monument of monumental art
