66 Soviet soldiers and 8 partisans who died in battles for the village on October 5, 1941, as well as soldiers who died on March 6 and September 5, 1943 in battles for the liberation of the village, partisans of S. Kovpak's unit, who died in battle 5 were buried here October 1942. The village was finally liberated on September 5, 1943. In 1963, the remains of the dead from different places were transferred to a mass grave, on which in the same year a cast-iron sculpture of a warrior was installed on a pedestal. In 1972, a concrete stele was built behind the sculpture, on which 11 marble slabs with the names of the 231st compatriot soldiers who died on the fronts of the Second World War were fixed. On the left side of the ceiling is a cast-iron board with an inscription.
